A Brief History of Batman Incorporated
Grant Morrison created Batman Incorporated in 2010. Following the events of Final Crisis, batman and robinand The return of Bruce Wayne, Batman has decided to elevate his mission in Gotham City to a global level. Rebounding in time after being zapped by Darkseid’s Omega Beams will do that to a man. The original title ran from 2010 to 2013, ending after Damian Wayne’s death.
Eventually, Lex Luthor picked up where Bruce left off during “The Abyss” story arc. Bruce reunited the group to put an end to Superman’s nemesis and ended up toying with the idea of reviving the band of international heroes himself. It was then that Ghost-Maker took on a leadership role in Annual Batman 2022 (where Gray Wolf got its start) and revived the team, allowing Bruce to focus on Gotham.
A few heroes existed in the DC Universe before Grant Morrison wrote his Batman epic, while others were created entirely within the pages of the original 2010 batman inc. script.
DC Comics plans to put Batman Incorporated #1 at your local comic book store on October 11, 2022. There will be variant covers
