IAA India IndIAA Awards Say “There is Good in Everything Around Us”

Celebrating the good in all that surrounds us was the refrain as the Indian chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) presented the sixth edition of its prestigious IndIAA Awards at a ceremony held at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai, October 27.

Speaking at the event, Megha Tata, IAA President – India Section, said, “We had a great jury, wonderful winning work and now fantastic participation from the advertising and marketing media elite. The IndIAA Awards have truly set a new benchmark in the industry.

Explain the theme of the awards, Abhishek Karnani, President IAA IndIAA Awards, said, “Any price is as good as the people who approve of it. I consider the presence of such a powerful audience here today, and the presence of recurring sponsors, as a big endorsement for the IndIAA awards. Bearing in mind the phase we are hopefully coming out of, we have carved our awards ceremony around a theme – which recognizes and inspires the need to show that there is good in all that we do. surrounded. It just needs to be exploited by us.

Suresh Narayanan, President of the Jury and Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé India, in his video message, said: “It has been a privilege and an honor to be president of the jury for three consecutive years. These awards are the most prestigious in the world of advertising and communication. This year, the IndIAA Awards received over 200 nominations across 31 categories. I would like to congratulate each winner for their exceptional work.

At the event, the IAA congratulated CVL Srinivas, Country Manager WPP India, Bhupal Ramnathkar, Founder and Managing Director, Umbrella Design and Raj Nair, CEO, Madison BMB like ‘COVID humanitarian heroes’, to be industry leaders with a heart, to be the silent hands behind several initiatives for the good, highlighting the power of design, for the many communication campaigns that have sought to make a difference and for their attitude always willing to help a good cause.

The guests of honor at the event were actors Sonu sood and Bhumi Pednekar. Mayura Shreyams Kumar, Director of Digital Affairs, Mathrubhumi and Srinivasan Swamy, past president of IAA Global and current vice president of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations, congratulated Sonu Sood, while Avinash pandey, IAA Mancom Member and Managing Director, ABP Network, Megha Tata and Abhishek Karnani congratulated Bhumi Pednekar on stage.

Mathrubhumi was the title partner, ABP network the associated partner and Time network the supporting partner of the event.


This year IAA India added a special category – “Voice of change” – recognize campaigns that challenge the gender stereotype in the industry. Unacademy was named the winner in this category for its campaign #TeachThemYoung | Know when she needs you.
