Is Moon Knight Canon in the MCU?

It’s been confirmed by none other than Marvel big boss Kevin Feige that moon knight will be the canon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that they plan for the titular hero to be a part of the big screens in the future where he could be with the other heroes the franchise has already introduced.

Part of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, moon knight gets along with the other characters who have recently debuted or will just be making their first appearance in the franchise, which means he’s one of the newcomers. MCU Phase Four deals either with the passing of the baton, the aftermath of the events of previous phases, or the introduction of new faces that will shape the future of the franchise.

Oscar Isaac plays moon knight and he would be joined by Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow, May Calamawy as Layla, Loic Mabanza as Bushman, the late Gaspar Ulliel as Anton Mogart, Lucy Thackeray as Donna, and F. Murray Abraham as Khonshu.

moon knight arrives on Disney Plus at 3:00 a.m. EST on March 30, 2022 where there are said to be six episodes to be released each week. There is no news yet as to when the series will be released on DVD but what is certain is that it would be available on the service in the highest streaming quality, 4K. It is rated TV-14, which means people aged 14 or over can watch the show; however, they must be accompanied by an adult.
